About The Soul Centre - Chabad Randwick
The Soul Centre is a Chabad Jewish centre in Randwick, Sydney, welcoming every Jew, regardless of background, observance or affiliation, as family. We are a home for Jewish life in the community, a place where every soul is valued simply because it's a soul.
Established on Rosh Hashana 2022 (5783) by Rabbi Aycee and Sorella Abrahams, The Soul Centre grew from a simple belief: that every Jew deserves a warm space to explore their heritage, celebrate their identity and find genuine community, wherever they're starting from.
Our Mission
We exist to connect every Jew to their heritage, their community and their soul. Whether you're keeping every mitzvah or have never lit a Shabbos candle, whether you grew up with a rich Jewish education or are only just discovering what it means to you, there's a place for you here.
What We Do
From weekly Shabbos services and dinners to holiday programming across the full Jewish calendar, from classes exploring Torah and chassidus to pastoral care and lifecycle support, The Soul Centre creates real, meaningful Jewish experiences for every Jew in the Randwick community, young and old, students, young families, professionals, retirees, everyone.
We believe Judaism isn't meant to be locked away in a museum. It's meant to be lived, felt and shared, in a way that's spirited, accessible and unmistakably Chabad.
Our Values
At the heart of everything we do is Ahavas Yisrael, love of a fellow Jew, and the teachings of the Rebbe, who taught that every single Jew has an entire world within them, waiting to be revealed. We're not here to judge where you are. We're here to walk alongside you, wherever that is.
